Hi Yoke Yin!
Your
Disney Adventure vacation is quickly approaching, and you'll be boarding this beautiful vessel for a magical 3-night voyage soon.
Your embarkation day will be filled with excitement and lots to experience. Once you arrive at the cruise terminal, you'll check in, go through security, and wait for your boarding group to be called. While you are waiting to board, I recommend connecting to the DCL-Guest Wi-Fi to access the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Click on "Explore" to see a list of all the day's events and activities. You'll also be able to see what food options are available in the "Dining/Lounges" section and their hours of operation. There will be experiences you need to reserve in advance, so keep an eye on your app each day to get them booked. The app will also have deck plans to help you navigate from space to space.
Once onboard, it's time to get to know the immersive 7 themed areas that make up the Disney Adventure while you wait for your stateroom to be ready. This is a time for exploration to learn about your floating destination. I do suggest eating lunch while you are checking things out. Most venues will be open and ready to welcome you throughout the afternoon, but will close for a short time for the
Mandatory Guest Assembly Drill. This drill is for all Guests and your assembly station will be listed in your app. There will be several opportunities to enjoy the Let's Set Sail party on the
Garden Stage. In the evening, you'll have your
first dining rotation, a full list of activities, and the
shops should be available to check out all the Disney and Disney Cruise Line merchandise. The first day is also a great time to capture all the imaginatively themed spaces with your camera and take advantage of the
ship's photographers so you have lots of photos to remind you of your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Thank you, Yoke Yin, for visiting us here at planDisney! We wish you an enchanting journey next week on the Disney Adventure.
