You’re right! You’ll be able to purchase and book your
Lightning Lane services beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date, since you’ll be staying at a
Disney World resort. At that time, you’ll choose your Lightning Lane pre-selections and return times (pending availability), then after you’ve gone through all of the prompts, you’ll purchase the service. Each park day will be a separate transaction.
To be honest, I’m not quite sure why you’re getting a notification about January 13th, since that’s 3 weeks in advance of your trip! With a check-in date of February 3rd, your Lightning Lane booking window should open on January 27th.
It’s good to note that, even though you will not be able to purchase Lightning Lane services 3 weeks in advance, you will be able to see the pricing for the Lightning Lane services at that time. The calendar always updates 3 weeks in advance, which is really helpful when budgeting!
To see the prices, click the Learn More button under the Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass section on the homepage of your
My Disney Experience app. Then, scroll down until you can click View Pricing Calendar. There, you’ll be able to filter by park and pass type to see how much you can expect the services to cost.
