When we check into AoA we should get a Key to the World card, right? Can we charge meals at counter service locations at MK and resorts or can you only charge merchandise to the KTTW card? Also, can each adult put their own credit card on their KTTW?

    Collette,

Yes, your room key card, or Key to the World, is what you get when you check in. Assuming that when you check in that you say that you do want charge privileges put onto the cards, yes, you can charge at any of the four parks or other Disney owned resorts. You can also bill to your room any charges from Disney stores in the Downtown Disney and BoardWalk areas, as well as the water parks and golf courses, among other Disney locales. Of course you could also charge at these locations to a major credit card as well.

As for putting two different credit cards down for different room keys, my past experience says that no, you cannot do that. I think that all room key cards attached to a room reservation have to go to the room account in general. That room reservation is then tied to the credit card that you put on file for the room.

I have shared rooms with friends before, and what you will want to do is stop by the front desk and get an itemized bill. From there you can ask them to bill a certain amount to one credit card, and provide another credit card for the rest of the bill. But be aware that they will bill your card on file after your balance hits a certain figure, or the night before your departure. So ask the resort what is the best time to come by to settle the bill to avoid all the charges going to the one card on file.

    Have a magical vacation!
