Hi DeLynn,
While there are lots of factors that go into budgeting for a vacation to the most magical place on earth, the largest pieces of your budget will be your hotel, transportation, and theme park tickets. In general, you'll find the times of the year when most kiddos are in school to be the most affordable.
This list is a helpful place to start. One-day tickets are sorted into Value, Regular, or Peak Seasons, and while it isn't a guaranteed system, traveling around those Value Season days will likely be the most budget-friendly.
You'll find a Disney Resort hotel to fit any budget, and I'd definitely encourage you to keep your eye on the
Special Offers page for any upcoming deals. Hopefully you'll find one that works
perfectly for a time you'd like to visit. I will say, though, that the Resort hotel discounts aren't usually available very far in advance. You are welcome, though, to make a reservation now and add a discount later if one becomes available! As for saving money on tickets, you may currently save $20 per ticket over the cost at the gate when you purchase a three-day or longer ticket
online ahead of time. Every little bit adds up!
One other tip for you: If you're wanting to save some money on food, did you know that
you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the theme parks? There are a few restrictions, like no large coolers, glass bottles, or food that needs to be heated, but that can be another great way to save!
Thanks so much for stopping by, DeLynn, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip! Have a truly magical vacation!
