what is the cheapest days a mom and daughter can visit and stay at the park?

Hiya, Chelsey, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question and what a wonderful idea to visit the Disneyland Resort with your daughter! I have two kids myself and some of my favorite memories have been when I've taken them to the Resort individually and spent quality time with them. Those are the core memories that I hope they'll look back on with fondness later. It would be my pleasure to help you and your daughter!

If you're only planning on visiting the Disneyland Resort for a single day, 1 Day Ticket costs are determined by a Tier System, with lower tiers costing less but having more blockout dates. As you navigate through the ticket purchase process, you'll be able to view the cost of 1 Day Tickets which should help you make your choice.

Standard Multi Day Tickets are not tiered so there are no blockout dates for these. However, if your visit is before September 26, 2024, there is a special 3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer that is happening currently. It's a fantastic offer especially if you purchase the Monday to Thursday ticket! This gives you and your daughter three magical days to enjoy at the Parks!

Here are some of my other tips for the budget conscious:

    • Look for deals on Disney Gift Cards. You can use these to purchase nearly everything while in the Parks and, although the deal on a single card might be minimal, the savings can add up.
    • Pack your own snacks and lunches into the Parks in order save on food costs. And bring a reusable water bottle which you can refill at the Bottle-Filling Stations located throughout the Parks.
    • Take full advantage of freebies! Get you and your daughter pixie dusted at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Take a drawing class at the Animation Academy and walk away with your very own souvenir print. Grab a free celebratory button from Guest Relations to commemorate your mommy/daughter visit!
    • Consider a Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Package. You'll get a pin and lanyard along with some discounts at the Downtown Disney District.

Chelsey, I hope that this was enough information to get you started on planning a magical vacation with your daughter! Please write back to us if you have more questions. We would be happy to keep assisting you and we'll see ya real soon!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
