Magical greetings, April, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is just a few days away, and pretty soon, you'll be in the middle of The Most Magical Place on Earth! Let's get right to it.
It sounds like you're planning a 1-day visit, and you want to visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day, no
Park Hopper Option needed. If that's the case, you'll want to
purchase your tickets online through the Walt Disney World website. What you'll be looking for is a 1-day, 1-park option, and you'll choose the day and park you want to visit when you make your purchase.
If you'd consider extending your stay so you can visit all four Disney theme parks, there is a special deal going on now through September 26 for a
4-Park Magic Ticket that gives you admission to each of the four parks, one park per day. While the ticket itself is more expensive than a 1-day ticket, your overall cost per day is significantly lower, making it a better value.
I do have one more option for you to consider. I'm not sure how long you'll be in the Orlando area and if your date to visit is flexible, but
Disney After Hours is happening at Hollywood Studios on Wednesdays in August. This ticketed event takes place for 3 hours after the park closes and includes many of the most popular attractions, typically with low wait times. It also includes ice cream novelties, bottled soda and water and popcorn available throughout the event and more. While the event itself starts after the park closes, your event ticket gives you park entrance beginning at 7 PM. This ticket could be slightly more or slightly less than the cost of a 1-day ticket, depending on the day you'd like to visit, but it is a fun option and a good way to tour the park efficiently in a short amount of time with a little extra magic sprinkled in.
