    Is it cheaper to visit WDW in November or December?

    Cindy,

    The rate seasons vary by a few days either way every year, but here are the general rules;

    • The last two weeks of December are the very most expensive at Walt Disney World, in what is called the Holiday rate season.
    • The first three weeks of November are typically Regular rate season weeks.
    • The first two weeks of December are typically Value rate seasons weeks, which are the most affordable of the year.

    If you check the webpage of your resort of interest, you will see the different season listed under the tab "Room Types and Pricing".

    So the best time to visit is December (including the last few days of the month AFTER Thanksgiving), right up until the week of Christmas. These Value rates are the least expensive you can get during the year. A real plus is that you also get the parks in their full holiday decor, which is a sight to see!

    I am glad to answer any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
