Is it cheaper to book hotel stay before and after Caribbean cruise sailing out of New Orleans with your package or on your own?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jeanette!

You're almost there!  Before you know it, you will be sailing out of the Crescent City on the Disney Wonder.  I am looking forward to sailing onboard this ship early next year as well!

When sailing out of New Orleans, there are many different types of accommodations available for you before and after your cruise.  There is also a large range of price points depending on the amenities and location you are looking for.

Disney Cruise Line can handle all of the details, including any hotel reservations, for your entire vacation.  What I like about booking pre- and post-cruise hotel stays directly with Disney Cruise Line is that in many ports ground transportation is available from these locations.  Disney Cruise Line also takes the time to identify and partner with local hotels that will enhance your vacation and immerse you in the culture of the port you are sailing from.

The hotels that Disney Cruise Line partners with in New Orleans fall near the average room price for the area.  You can contact Disney Cruise Line directly for the per night cost for the dates you will be traveling and book directly with them.  The cost would then be added to your cruise fare and would be due on the date your cruise is required to be paid in full.

No matter where you stay, you will have a magical time on your Disney Cruise Line vacation.  While onboard, be sure to enjoy dinner at Tiana's Place and you will be transported to a jazz festival straight out of the Bayou!

Enjoy planning your vacation!  Bon voyage!  Angie
