Hi, Cindy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. One thing I frequently hear when on hold with the Disney Call Center is, "the more you play, the less you pay." That saying is absolutely true when it comes to pricing out the cost of a single day admission versus the cost per day of a multi-day
Disney Theme Park Ticket.
To see how this works, head on over to the
main ticketing page. Price out the cost of a 4-Day, 1 Park Per Day Disney Theme Park Ticket that starts on the day you plan to begin your magical vacation. The interactive calendar will show you the price per day for that ticket. Now, change it to a 5-Day ticket. See how that per day price drops when you add on another day? The per day price will keep dropping the more days you add on to your ticket. To really show you your cost savings, I want you to now price a 1-Day, 1 Park Per Day Disney Theme Park Ticket. In every instance I can think of, the cost of a 1-Day Disney Theme Park Ticket will be higher than just adding a day to your existing tickets.
Depending on how close you are to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel check-in date and whether you have included your tickets as part of a
Disney Resort Hotel Package, you may be able to modify your Disney Theme Parks Tickets in advance. The best way to do this is to call (407) W-DISNEY, or (407) 934-7639, and chat with a Cast Member about modifying your tickets. They will let you know if it can be done at that time over the phone or if you need to wait until you arrive.
Adding a day to your tickets is super easy upon arrival. This can be done at your resort's concierge, at theme park ticket windows, or at Guest Relations in Disney Springs or theme park.
Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
