Hello again, Sally! It's great to have you return to planDisney with more questions!
The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your guide to all the happenings around the ship and can keep you connected with your fellow guests in the chat feature. To access the chat, you'll need to be onboard the ship. Once you are on the ship and connected to the DCL Guest Wifi, open the app. You will be prompted to link your stateroom within the app. Once you are connected, you can start chatting away! You will initially have access to chat with those in your travel party. If you'd like to chat with others onboard, they will need to share their Chat ID with you and you can enter it in to connect. My favorite chat feature is the option to use fun Disney-themed emojis to enhance your conversation.
If anyone in your sailing party is under 13 years old and wants to use the chat function, they will need approval from an adult to obtain a unique pin from the Primary Guest in the stateroom (usually the first person listed on the reservation). The Primary Guest can find the pin by tapping the child's name on their phone in the Navigator app. The child can then enter the pin within their app to start conversations.
My daughter likes to start conversations with friends she meets in the
youth clubs onboard so that they can keep in touch and plan to meet up for activities. I hope this information is helpful and leads to smooth sailing ahead for you and your travel crew. Have a fantastic time during your Disney Cruise!
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
