I see where you are charged a fee for lost, damaged, etc Wave phones. My 15yr is bad about losing & misplacing things. If I had the Wave Phone with me, would he be able to contact me using a guest phone somewhere on the ship other than our room?

    Ahoy Lori!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question because I always enjoy helping a fellow Georgian with cruise questions!  We have sailed many times on Disney Cruise Line, and I have yet to let either of my two carry the Wave Phone because I have the same concerns as you!  The good news is that your son can use the phones around the ship to call the wave phones.  The phone number for your wave phone will be your room number with either a one or two after it.  Just let your son know which phone you have so he is calling the correct phone.  I always bring along sticky notes so we can use them to leave notes to each other about our whereabouts.  This might work for you and your son as well.
Thank you for stopping by, Lori!  Please write back if I can assist you further!
    Have a magical day!
