How much can I charge on my magic band if I am staying at a Disney moderate value resort?

    Hi Lemuel!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The ease of charging items to your MagicBand is a wondEARful convenience when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and with recent updates to the My Disney Experience mobile app, it's now easier to track than ever!

For a Value or Moderate Resort Hotel, the current spending limit is set to $1,500. If you approach this limit, you can speak with a Cast Member at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and let them know you would like to sign off on your charges, they will charge the credit card they have on file for you and essentially reset your balance! To check your current balance throughout your stay if you open up your My Disney Experience mobile app and tap on My Plans you'll see an option to View Charges. This is the best way to keep up to date on your balance and ensure you don't approach your limit.

Please come back and let us know if we can help in any other way!
