Is there a charge to go to downtown Disney to walk around or to swim at the pool at Disney's boardwalk?

Anyone can walk around and explore the shops at Downtown Disney free of charge. This is a fabulous place to dine, people watch, and pick up some great souvenirs.

As far as the pool at the Boardwalk goes, you will only be able to use this if you are a guest at the Boardwalk hotel. If you are a Boardwalk guest, then of course pool use would be included with your room. If you are not staying at the Boardwalk, then you will not be allowed to use this pool. There are a very few exceptions to this, primarily for Disney Vacation Club members, but for the most part "pool hopping" (using the pools at other resorts) is not allowed.
