We're glad to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jim! It sounds like you're in the midst of planning a Walt Disney World vacation that is
practically perfect in every way!
I still have a
Rumbly in my Tumbly thinking about
1900 Park Fare's Supercalifragilistic
Breakfast at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet offers lots of traditional favorites such as eggs (try the lobster eggs benedict), carved meats, potatoes, fruits, pastries, made to order omelets and Disney favorites like POG Juice and Mickey Waffles. However, there are a few items that stand out in my mind as being truly unique and delicious, including the heavenly Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce and Alice's Red Velvet Pancakes with Cream Cheese Icing. Also, in case you haven't heard, 1900 Park Fare's Strawberry Soup is a thing of legends. If you enjoy it as much as I do, ask for the recipe while you're there, and your wish might be granted!
When I dined here last summer, I was fortunate to chat with Mary Poppins (who asked if I was behaving), Alice in Wonderland, and the Mad Hatter (it's always fun to tell him it's your
Unbirthday). I also got some hugs from my favorite silly old bear, Winnie the Pooh, and his friend,
T-I-double-guh-ER, Tigger. While the characters are subject to change, you're likely to see a few of these beloved friends. I was here with my two nieces, who were in stitches the entire time, but as a mom of three boys, I can attest that princes and princesses of all ages will have a ball!
TTFN or ta-ta, for now, Jim! Please write back if there's anything else we can do!
