Will characters sign T-shirts? Trying to think of a creative first trip memorabilia for my son.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha! I am so happy you stopped by.

Getting autographs are some of my son's absolute favorite things to do, and we always make sure to have an autograph book handy. Since we have been known to fill an autograph book, we are also looking for alternatives, and while I have not had the characters sign a t-shirt yet, a good friend of mine has, and it turned out great!

My recommendation for getting autographs on a shirt would be to make sure that you bring your own fabric markers instead of permanent markers. I would also recommend that you bring a piece of solid cardboard or a book to put under the shirt so that the colors don't bleed through to the other side, and to give the characters a solid surface to write on.

If you are looking for other ideas, I am planning on bringing a photo mat on our next trip to have the characters sign. I can then display it on the mantle in our living room as the perfect frame for our Memory Maker photo!

Keep in mind that there are a few characters who can not sign autographs. Olaf, for example, hasn't yet learned how to write, but I am sure he will get a kick out of your name!

I hope that this gave you some ideas of what to bring, Samantha. Please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help as you plan your magical vacation!
