Can you see the characters in the park with out making character dining reservations?

    Yes, absolutely!

Almost all the characters that appear at character meals also have other greeting areas in the parks. For example, Belle appears at Cinderella's Royal Table and Princess Storybook meals, but she also appears in the France pavilion, often with The Beast accompanying her. Additionally, there are many characters that greet guests in the parks, but do not appear at any meal experience. Tinker Bell is a good example of this.

To make sure that you're not missing anything, I would go to the Guest Relations office at any of the theme parks; these are noted on the park maps. Ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The character hotline will be able to tell them if any particular character will be in the parks on a particular day, and if so, where and when the character will be there.

Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World.
