Do the Characters at the Character Breakfests change to villains at Halloween time? My son is obsssed with Jack Skellington and I was hoping to meet him when we are at Disneyland in October.

    Hi Crystal!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My son's name is Jack, so we are always on the hunt for anything and everything related to the Nightmare Before Christmas, so I completely understand you wanting to make this happen for your little one!

While the Character Dining Experiences at Disneyland Resort have not historically changed based on the season, I'm delighted to let you know there is still the possibility of hunting out the Pumpkin King on your next trip. Jack Skellington can be found at various times throughout the day in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park in front of the Haunted Mansion. His line can be quite long from time to time so I'd recommend getting there early in the morning and checking with a Cast Member nearby on when he'll make an appearance. I'm excited for your son to be able to meet his favorite character!

Since he is a Jack Skellington fan, I also want to make sure you are aware of the transformation that occurs to the Haunted Mansion in the fall for the Haunted Mansion Holiday. It is my favorite attraction on either coast and a must do for anyone visiting Disneyland Park from September 15th into the New Year! Your kiddo is going to have the best day at the Happiest Place on Earth! Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions.
