    Character warehouse, do DVC members get discount

    Hello Peter, 

    Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re already enjoying your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let’s dive right into your question about the Disney Character Warehouse. 

    My family likes to visit Disney's Character Warehouse locations when we have a vehicle at Walt Disney World Resort. They are a fun place to shop and see what treasures you can find! They offer discounted Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line merchandise and the stock is constantly changing. There have been visits where we have found great deals and others where we haven't purchased anything. Currently, there is no discount for Disney Vacation Club Members but if you happen to be an Annual Passholder, you can enjoy a 20% discount on select merchandise at all Disney's Character Warehouse locations for the month of August 2024.    

    There are two Disney's Character Warehouse locations in the Orlando area: 

    • 8200 Vineland Ave #1252, Orlando, FL 32821
    • 4969 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819

    If you don't have access to a vehicle, a ride-share such as Uber or Lyft can get you to either location within 15 minutes or so, however, the Vineland location is closest to Walt Disney World Resort. Both locations can get quite busy and sometimes have a line out the door. I've had good luck visiting first thing in the morning or mid-afternoon.
