Welcome Home, Amanda--and welcome back to planDisney! I hope our advice has been helpful in the past, and I'm delighted to offer some tips to add a little extra pixie dust to your upcoming
Disney Vacation Club adventures. With your vacation coming up soon, we don't have a minute to lose!
My teenagers are still always up for a
Walt Disney World Resort trip, and we've enjoyed plenty of resort days and even a resort-only trip or two. While we have favorite activities and restaurants that we love to visit every time we travel, I'm always on the lookout for new experiences that the kids will enjoy. On our most recent visit, we gave them a lot of freedom to explore, and they had some great sister experiences that I hope they will cherish! I definitely recommend letting your teens do some things without parents--it's a great way to build independence and they will come to love The Most Magical Place on Earth in a whole new way.
I see you are planning on catching
Disney Dreams that Soar, the drone show at
Disney Springs that is happening through early September. While at the Springs, your teens may also enjoy some time at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes for bowling and dinner. Currently, DVC Members can receive a 10% discount on food at Splitsville (subject to change), and this may be a great activity for after the drone show while the crowds clear out! My kids are also big fans of
Drawn to Life, the Cirque du Soleil show at Disney Springs. The show combines classic Disney stories with the jaw-dropping feats of the Cirque troupe.
OK, let me list out some other ideas for activities your kids are sure to enjoy--I've got a bunch!
Amanda, I hope these suggestions are helpful! If you have any last-minute questions before your arrival, please reach out and we will be happy to help. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Stay Magical!
