We have character meals planned for 1st trip w/kids 5,4,16 mo. We're eating 8:15 brkfst @ CrystalPalace Wed, 11:00 lunch @ Garden Grill Fri, and 8:25 dinner @ ChefMickeys Thrsdy. How long do the meals typically last? How much time should we plan on? THANKS

Character meal typically last an hour. If you're quick eaters, and you're lucky in the character rotation, you could be done in 45 minutes. If you're slow eaters, maybe allow 75 minutes.

Almost all the character meals are set up so that each character makes it around to every table in the course of an hour. We've been to at least a hundred character meals over the years and I can't think of a single instance where a character buffet didn't last between 45 and 75 minutes. A very few of the table service character meals (for you, Garden Grill) might take a few minutes longer if you linger over coffee or something like that. But if you wanted to be done in an hour, you can feel confident that this would be possible.
