    for character dining. If we are visiting hollywood studios or animal kindom park, can we make a reservation to go eat @ chef mickey's @ contempopary resort or will we need park hopper to do so.

    Hi, Linda! The Contemporary is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, but you don't need a  theme park ticket to dine there.  Since Chef Mickey's is located inside the Contemporary Resort, entrance to the Magic Kingdom doesn't influence your dining at all.  So -  feel free to stop in and see Chef Mickey without worrying about a Park Hopper ticket, or any ticket at all!  Thanks for your question.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
