We have some character dining experiences already scheduled, but what other not-to-miss restaurants would you suggest for dining with kids? We are considering the TRex Cafe in Downtown Disney, but would appreciate other suggestions. Thanks in advance

    Hi Tammy!

It sounds like you are planning some fun and different dining experiences!

Walt Disney World is home to some unique restaurants that aren't often found at home! Here are a few of my family's favorites:
    • As you've mentioned, T-Rex is WONDERFUL! Dining under a meteor shower with Dinosaurs and Mammoths is definitely a memory making experience! AND, you can even "Build A Dinosaur" just like Build-a-Bear when you are done!
    • Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Hollywood Studios is one time where the parents can ride in the back seat and let the kids take the wheel! Be sure to ask to wait for a car to dine in. You can enjoy bad, cheesy sci-fi clips while you enjoy a meal in your "car"!
    • Teppan Edo at the Japan pavillion in Epcot is one of my son's favorite meals. While it is like the hibachi restaurants you may have at home, there are some special Disney touches that make it so much fun!
    • Last, but not least, for some good ole' western, loud, foot stomping fun, check out the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. Don't forget to ask for ketchup :)
Hope you have a wonderful trip!
