What character dining experience do you recommend? I have read mixed reviews and I am now conflicted.

    Hi there Harmony,

Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It's a Jolly Holiday to be planning your vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth!

We usually have a tough time deciding between Storytellers Cafe and Goofy’s Kitchen - we crave both! At both Character Dining options, you will have a delicious and hearty buffet to start your Disney day off on the right. At Storytellers Cafe, you will find some hidden gems in the Disney Character friends showing up for autographs and pictures that you might not see in the parks like Turk from Tarzan and Meeko from Pocahontas.

At Goofy’s Kitchen, the fun starts when you enter the restaurant and your Disney Character host greets you. During your meal, Goofy and his zany Disney friends will visit your table for pictures, autographs, and maybe a dance or two. It's really a fun atmosphere!

I highly recommend making reservations at either of these two restaurants by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463; they can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your next pixie dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
