Hiya, Nicole! Welcome back to planDisney!
Oh boy! You asked about two of my favorite things at
Walt Disney World Resort - characters and fireworks! These are great ways to add a little extra magic to an already pixie-dusted vacation. I'd love to help you put the finishing touches on your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, starting with character dining!
Nicole, at the time of this writing, the
available character dining experiences do not require a full prepayment at the time of booking. And there are so many incredible experiences to choose from! My personal favorites are
Garden Grill Restaurant in
EPCOT and
Tusker House Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, you have multiple options available to you that will be practically perfect in every way! If other character dining experiences open up or are modified and require prepayment, you'll see "Credit Card Advance Payment" when making that reservation. Remember,
advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your check-in date!
The Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties are some of the experiences available as part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection offered at Walt Disney World Resort! These dessert parties do require a full prepayment at the time of booking. When viewing the dessert party you're interested in, you'll be able to click the "View Important Details" link, including the cancellation window.
Be sure that you've also made your Theme Park Reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And take some time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app before you arrive! A little like holding a magic wand in your hand, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even
mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
I hope I was able to help you with your reservations, Nicole. If you have any other questions, please visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.
Faith, trust, and pixie dust -
Michelle
