What character dining do you like for boys age 2 and 5 who don't know many Disney characters? They think princesses are pretty, but will Akershus be "too girly" for them? We're on the DDP for 4 days in Nov., and I'd like to make ADRs for each

Hey Catherine!  I love it they think the princesses are pretty .. too cute.
Okay I've got a couple of recommendations.  There are several places where you could dine with such characters as the Fab 5, Chip and Dale, Little Einstein characters and more, so let me give you a few of these.
At the MK your boys could dine with Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace.  Just next door at the Contemporary you can dine at Chef Mickey.  Here your boys would meet the Fab 5 in a fun atmosphere and the food is very good.
There are several breakfast character dinings you might want to consider.  At 'Ohana, located in the Poly, you can dine with such characters as Lilo and Stitch and Mickey and Pluto.  There is the Tusker House at AK and here you enjoy a buffet breakfast with Donald, Daisy and Goofy.  At Hollywood and Vine, located in DHS, there is a breakfast with Little Einstein characters and JoJo and Goliath.
To dine with Chip and Dale, you will want to look into dinner at the Garden Grill or Mickey's Backyard Barbecue.
I hope this list helps and that you have great success in securing the ADRs you desire.  Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel and I hope you all have a very magical WDW vacation.
