Bonjour, Jared. It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney today!
Character Dining is my favorite way to dine at The Most Magical Place on Earth, so I’m glad you are interested in experiencing it for yourself on your upcoming trip. You will have plenty of options to choose from since the only Character Dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort that is still unavailable at this time is 1900 Park Fare. We still don’t know when to expect this wonderful option to return to the line-up, but I’m crossing my fingers we have good news soon. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for further updates on this front.
In the meantime, I suggest looking through the options that are currently available to see what floats your boat. Personally, I highly recommend
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom Park or
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. My family has many magical memories of fantastic character interactions and exceptionally delicious food during our meals at these locations.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is another family favorite. Dopey had my nieces in stitches, and Grumpy was quite displeased with my poisoned apple dress (though the Evil Queen was quite pleased). This restaurant is located outside of the theme parks at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and is one of the most popular dining reservations at Walt Disney World. Because of this, I recommend this be your top priority when you are able to make your dining reservations if you decide you would like to dine here.
Speaking of dining reservations … Remember, Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels can make advanced dining reservations for the length of their stay (up to 10 days)
60 days in advance of their check-in date. All other Guests can make dining reservations 60 days in advance. On the appropriate 60-day mark, you can begin making reservations starting at 6:00 a.m. EST. However, I recommend being logged in and ready to start looking at 5:45 a.m. EST.
Jared, I hope this information proves useful. Know you are always welcome to put our service to the test again here at planDisney if you think of more questions before your magical getaway.
TTFN (ta-ta for now),
Alyssa
