We have a character breakfast scheduled in May at Epcot at 8:15. When I got my confirmation it said to give ourselves 1.5 hours of travel time to Epcot if we are using Disney transportation (we are). We are staying at AOA. Is this really necessary?

HI Ashley! I'm all about being at dining reservations a bit early, but I do think leaving 1.5 hours prior might be a bit much. The bus ride from the Art of Animation Resort to Epcot takes about 15 minutes. You will have to go through security when you get there, and then possibly deal with line ups to get into the park. And then you'll need to walk through the park to get to the restaurant, which will take upwards of 15 minutes depending on where you're dining. Given all this, I would plan on leaving your resort between 7:15 and 7:30 am. You should check with resort staff the night before and they will tell you what time to expect your bus.

Write us back with any other questions Ashley! Wishing you the most magical vacation!
