We'll have a character breakfast at GC on a non-park day. Where can we park? Is there a charge for parking?

    Howdy Anna,

Thank you for bringing us your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a pixie dusted day.

I think it’s a great idea to dine at a Disneyland Resort Hotel on a non-park day. We love dining at Storytellers Cafe in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the buffet is hearty and the decor has such a cozy, warm feeling. Storytellers Cafe is a great way to get some of the Disney Character Meet ’N’ Greets and autographs done - all while you are enjoying a delicious meal!

You can park at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for free up to 5 hours with your Storytellers Cafe breakfast validation - just be sure to let your server know you need validation. Or you can park at Downtown Disney District for free up to 3 hours. Then after you dine, you can head over to Downtown Disney District and enjoy the shops, outdoor entertainment, or catch the latest movie at AMC Downtown Disney 12 Theatres.

I hope this helps you. Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you may have!

Wishing you a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
