We have character breakfast at Chef Mickeys @ 8:25 and staying off site, can we take the monorail or does it not start operating until 8:30 am?

    Hello Tracie,

Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, I am here to help and happy to do so. Breakfast with Mickey and his Pals, at Chef Mickey's, is an all time Guest favorite and I know I can't seem to get enough of the Mickey shaped waffles. It is a practically perfect way to start your morning before heading into one of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

Guests parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center have a couple of options, when heading to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Option 1 is board the Walt Disney World Resort Monorail (be sure you do not board the Magic Kingdom or Epcot monorail) and Disney's Contemporary Resort is your fourth stop, it will be running at the time you specified so do not fret. Option 2 is board the boat to Magic Kingdom park and take a short leisurely stroll to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Both will need approximately twenty to thirty minutes of travel time. Once you arrive, Chef Mickey's is located on the fourth floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, also called the Grand Canyon Concourse.

Enjoy your morning breakfast with Mickey and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
