Are the character autographs back? Asking because I have family going there next month, and I don’t want anyone upset if it’s not available.

    Hi Samantha!

Welcome to planDisney! We love being able to interact with the many characters found throughout the Disneyland Resort! Being able to meet some of our favorites, from Mary Poppins and Cinderella to the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, highlighted most of our trips to both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Samantha, in order to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Cast Members, hugs and autographs with the characters were suspended. I am thrilled to report that as of April 18, many of the character meet and greets have returned, allowing Guests like yourself to get a hug from your favorite Disney character! You can also ask them for their autograph! I know getting a hug from Minnie and Mickey was the pinnacle of my trip a week ago! Lines may be a bit long at the beginning while everyone is getting their share of Mickey and Friends hugs! Be sure to check your Disneyland App for character meet and greet locations as well as wait times.

I hope this truly helps you plan an incredible vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
