I will be a chaperone for a senior class trip and leaving my seven month old home with my husband. What is the best way to pump while in parks in terms of outlets, milk storage, etc

    Hi Aubrey,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be chaperoning for a Senior Class trip! I am sure you and the kids must all be so excited and counting down the days to your trip.

I pumped for my daughter when she was an infant-what a dedicated mama you are for your sweet little one! I found the best way for me to pump while I was visiting the parks was to bring my pump with me and visit the Baby Care Centers within each of the four parks to pump.  I was able to find outlets to use in each of the Baby Care Centers within the nursing rooms.  Some of the nursing rooms in some of the parks are shared spaces; if you prefer a bit more modesty, you may want to bring a cover up to use while pumping. I would suggest bringing a cooler with ice packs for milk storage in the parks.  You may consider renting a locker for your pump and for milk storage for the day.  They are outdoors but in shaded spaces so they don't get too terribly hot but you will still want the ability to keep things cool in your locker, as they are not climate controlled.

Aubrey, I hope you and your Senior Class have a wonderful time on your upcoming visit.  Please come back and see us if you have any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
