What if any changes are made to a Disney Cruise if the weather is bad? I am concerned about whether or not they would cancel the trip if the waves are to high. If it cancelled, do they reschedule or do you lose out?

    Hi Colleen!

There are so many things to think about when planning a vacation with Disney Cruise Line!  I have often worried about the weather before I set sail, but I can honestly say I don't remember any bad weather at all.  I have even sailed several times during hurricane season without any problems.  A few short afternoon rain showers are all I've experienced.  If the Captain anticipates any bad weather, he will change the course of the ship to try to avoid the rain, wind or high seas. Since Disney's main concern is safety, itineraries can change but they will try to substitute another port of call if possible. Port Adventures will have to be cancelled and money will be refunded.  I have never heard of an entire cruise being cancelled so I hope this will ease your concern.  If you have any other concerns or questions, please let me know!

    Have a wonderful day!
