    I just changed our reservation for November from Pop Century to Caribbean Beach Resort. It is a huge resort and we requested a standard room. What village should I request to get as close as possible to dining/pools/playground? What village is best themed?

    Stacey,

    Preferred rooms are typically located in the buildings around the Old Port Royale complex that includes the dining, shopping and main pool complex. The preferred rooms include those in these buildings;
    Martinique (Buildings 24, 25, and 26)
    Trinidad North (Buildings 31, 32, and 33)

    So the best standard options, in my book, are actually across the water from Old Port Royale. That seems counter-intuitive, but they are really just a short walk away, across two bridges and a tiny Island. So to get to those, I would recommend the following buildings (in order);

    Jamaica (Buildings 45, 44, and 46)
    Aruba (Building 51, 52, and 53)

    These 6 get you that quick walk to the amenities, and actually a nice distance from the ambient noise that the public areas create.

    As for theming, I like all the areas. They are just different to reflect different islands. I would focus more on your proximity issue, and wait for the surprise of what Island escape awaits you!

    Have a magical vacation!
