Howdy, Betsy, and thanks for stopping by planDisney today. You sound like a savvy shopper, so we're going to get along fabulously! I just booked a stay using a
Return to the Magic discount, also known as a bounce-back offer, so let's look at how modifications typically work.
I just happened to be on the phone for my own resort modification when I saw your question come in. So, I did what any panelist would do; I asked the helpful Cast Member! She said that once you switch that bounce-back discount to a different Special Offer, you typically cannot get it back. It's like a sprinkle of pixie dust and can POOF away in the wind. I know that's not the answer you were hoping for, but I do have a suggestion.
My mom always said, "It never hurts to ask," so I recommend calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line as soon as possible. Explain your situation, and if not too much time has passed, they might be able to see your reservation history. I can't guarantee they'll be able to reinstate the bounce-back offer, but I'm waving my magic wand that you might be in luck.
If the offer is gone, I hope the
Disney+ Perks Special Offer is a viable option. It's a great deal, too! A couple of new holiday deals recently dropped, so be sure to log in to your account to see all the ones you're eligible for.
Once you select Room Rates for a resort online, you should see a row of
Special Offers you can check. Tap each one to see whether any room types are available during your stay. It's the easiest way I know to save money on a Disney vacation. And that means more souvenirs at my favorite merchandise location,
Creations Shop at EPCOT. Last visit, I snagged an
adorable sweatshirt!
Betsy, keep hunting down those discounts, and have a magical vacation. And don't forget to book a bounce-back stay after your NEXT visit! Head on back to
planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
