planDisney and congratulations on your nuptials! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your married name updated on your My Disney Experience Account. Let's see if we can find a solution.
First, sign in
online and hover over the My Disney Experience icon on the menu bar at the top of the screen. From there, click the "Profile" link below your Character avatar. On the next screen select "Account Settings" and scroll down to the Personal Information section. There, type in your updated information in the Last Name text box and click the blue "Done" button at the bottom of the screen.
If you are unable to update your information this way you will have to reach out to a Cast Member for further assistance. This can happen if you have other existing Disney accounts with your original name, or simply if the website is experiencing technical difficulties. You can reach a friendly Cast Member by phone at 0800 028 0778 (UK) who would be happy to assist you in making the necessary updates.
I see you are planning to visit in April and I'm hopeful you'll be able to spend some time at
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your trip. The beautiful topiaries really make World Showcase come alive and the delicious food offerings are sure to put a spring in your step, too! We should begin to see the latest
