Can you change your reserved dates due to covid ?

    Hey there, hi there, Janelle!

I’m happy to welcome you to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.

With all the ups and downs this year, it feels like we're already on a roller coaster before our magical vacation even begins! During my recent experience, I was impressed with how Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort have been working diligently to help keep the health and safety of all as the number one priority. However, with all the uncertainty during this time, I understand that it’s good to keep up with the cancellation policies of your vacation, and I’m happy to discuss these with you!

Janelle, if you have booked a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, as long as it is more than 30 days prior to your arrival, you can cancel it without any penalties. However, from 2 to 29 days before your arrival, there will be a fee of $200 to cancel. If the cancellation occurs within 2 days of your arrival, the cancellation fee will be 100% of the package price. If you have reserved a room-only reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you may cancel 5 or more days before your arrival to avoid cancellation fees. To cancel your reservation, please call Disney Travel Operations at 407-560-CHAT (2428).

If you booked your Walt Disney World Resort Resort reservation through the website or over the phone with Disney directly, you might be able to change it on your My Disney Experience account. Simply locate the reservation under the “My Plans” page. If your reservation is eligible to be modified, you will see a link just beneath the confirmation number that states, “Change Reservation.” Once you select this, you will see a series of options available to you.

We hope to welcome you to the magic when the time is right for you and yours, Janelle!
