how do i change the reservation to disney to a later date

    Hi Priscilla! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry to hEAR that you won't be heading to Walt Disney World Resort as soon as you thought! While I know it can certainly be a disappointment to have to wait I'm sure you and your party will have an amazing time once you do arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Changing a Guest room Reservation at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel might be as easy as signing into your My Disney Experience account.  If you have a reservation that can be changed online you'll be able to click "My Reservations" and then "Modify Reservations".  Here you should be able to change the dates of your trip to those a little farther in the future as long as there is still availability at your intended Resort.

The My Disney Experience Mobile app is just as magical as the website version!  On the app, you'll be able to modify your Theme Park Ticket dates.  Open the app and start by clicking the three horizontal lines at the bottom right.  Select "Tickets and Passes" click on the Ticket you would like to switch and then select "Change Ticket".

If you're changing the dates of you're Theme Park Ticket you'll also need to change the dates of your Theme Park Reservations, as now all Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks need both a valid admission Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day.  Whether you're hoping to change your Ticket dates or just your Theme Park Reservations you'll want to start by checking the Theme Park Reservations calendar and making sure there is availability at all the Parks you're hoping to go to!

To change your Theme Park Reservations you'll actually have to cancel your existing reservations and then rebook, but the process is simple. Again, login to My Disney Experience (this account is your key to all the magic!) click "My Plans" and then "View Details".  Now you'll be able to cancel your original Theme Park Reservations and then book new ones right on the Walt Disney World website like you did the first time.

I hope I've covered the important reservations that you're needing to change.  If you need any other help throughout the process come back and see us again or call a Cast Member at (407)939-1936 for Resort reservations or (407)934-7639 for Theme Park Ticket questions.

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
