I would like to change my reservation day to a day that has a higher ticket price. How can I do this? Is there a way I can upgrade to pay the difference?

Heya, hiya, Sara! A sprinkle of pixie dust and a warm welcome to planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled you've floated over with your question. It's my pleasure to help you unlock the full magic of your Disneyland Resort adventure!

Alright, Sara, let’s talk about those Disneyland ticket tiers! As you know, each ticket is assigned a tier ranging from Tier 0 to Tier 6, with some of the higher-demand days requiring higher-tier tickets. Think of them as magical keys that unlock access to different days. Some of the most popular days, like holidays and bustling weekends, require those higher-tier keys to enter the kingdom. You can peek at the tickets FAQ page for all the details on tiers, dates, and any potential blockouts.

Upgrading your ticket to a higher tier may be possible, but it's a bit of behind-the-scenes magic that requires a Cast Member's touch. I’d recommend starting with a call to the ticket support phone line—they might just wave their magic wands and get it done in a snap! If that doesn't quite do the trick, you can also visit the ticket booths near the Esplanade, right between the parks. They'll get you all set so you can dive back into the enchantment! Just a heads up, park reservations are like limited-edition souvenirs—they go quickly! That’s why I recommend calling ahead first, and then visiting the ticket booth if necessary.

And speaking of planning the perfect Disney day, if you're visiting between now and April 21, 2025, you're in for a special treat! The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing! I visited recently to take in all the sights, sounds, and eats during opening weekend. I got quite a bit of mileage out of my Sip and Savor Pass, and I plan on returning soon to use the rest of my digital coupons. I love that I can bring it back any time during the festival to redeem the coupons for some of my favorite snacks, including the Mickey-shaped macaron with SNICKERS bar pieces! There are also lots of can’t-miss entertainment options, including Cookin’ with the Jammin’ Chefs. I especially love this show because it’s a great chance to see lots of Mickey’s pals in one place!

So, Sara, while upgrading to another ticket tier might take a little Cast Member magic, I hope this helps you find the perfect key to your Disneyland adventure! Remember, whether you're savoring festival treats or enjoying the park's classic charms, magical memories are always just around the corner. Wishing you a truly enchanting visit!
