Change of plans! 9/17/11-9/24, Beach Club, our girls 4 & 7, bro/sis & boys 7 & 9 + grandparents. Itinerary? How many ADRs are too many for the kids?

    Jennifer,

I would say that expecting kids that age to sit still for more than one big meal in a day is asking a lot. Maybe two reservations on a couple of your days, but certainly not every day!

So for our vacation we work 1 Advanced Dining Reservation per day, with a second on a few select days. And never two consecutive meals (i.e. breakfast then lunch, or lunch then dinner, on the same day). I do that because it ends up being too much food, or just too much time out of the day.

Now since you are talking about September 2011, it is difficult to know exactly what parks on what days, since we don't have the schedules yet. But with an 8-day trip, and the assumption of 6 park days, I would go with 1 day each at Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Then two days at the Magic Kingdom. With the 6th day, I would leave that open to the end of your vacation, and let the group decide what parks needs just one more day!

    I hope that helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
