Hiya James!
Nothing beats a vacation to the magic! In fact, I have been aching for one myself, which is why I’ve been following along planDisney’s Instagram account,
@planDisneyPanel! It sure does bring a healthy dose of magic into my day!
James,
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are date-based; this means when you purchase a theme park ticket, you select the date you plan to use the ticket subject to park reservation availability. If you wish to change your reservation from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom Park, you will first need to check the
Park Availability Calendar to see if the date you’d like to go to Magic Kingdom shows availability for the park.
If Magic Kingdom Park does show availability for your date, you will need to cancel your current EPCOT Park Pass reservation and then book a new Disney Park Pass reservation for Magic Kingdom Park.
If currently there are no Magic Kingdom Park Pass reservations available, I would recommend you keep checking. Sometimes people cancel their plans last minute. However, you’re sure to have a magical time should you end up going to EPCOT. It is my absolute favorite park, and I can’t get enough of
The World Showcase. I dream about having School Bread from
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe on a daily basis. As I like to tell my family, where else can we travel around the world without feeling symptoms of jet lag?
If you do find Magic Kingdom has availability, to cancel your current EPCOT reservation, head to the
Walt Disney World Resort website, hover over the My Disney Experience logo on the top-right, and select “My Plans.” You will be directed to a page that shows you all your current plans, and from here, you will scroll down until you find your Disney Park Pass Reservation that you made for EPCOT. When you locate it, you will want to click on “View Details” and then “Cancel this reservation,” which will take you to a page to choose who in your party would like to keep the reservation and who would like to be removed from it. Once you have canceled your current park pass, you can head to
Disney Parks Pass reservations to make your new one for Magic Kingdom Park.
James, we can’t wait to welcome you to the magic! Have an enchanting time.
Aena
