Hi there, Mary!
I’m delighted to welcome you to planDisney. Thank you for stopping by with your question for us.
As you know, currently, a theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option allows Guests to begin their day at the theme park where they have made their
Disney Park Pass reservation. Then, starting at 2 PM, Guests are able to enter a different theme park, subject to availability. No park pass reservation is needed for the second park.
Mary,
theme park tickets are not able to be downgraded, but if you’d like to speak to a Cast Member about this, I would recommend doing so at the Will Call windows located at the entrance of each of the theme parks. You can also
call Existing Tickets to speak to a friendly Cast Member if you’d like!
I do have to say, even with my little Mouseketeers in tow, I love the option of park hopping. There’s something so special about beginning our day strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park and ending it by tasting all the tasty treats around the World Showcase at EPCOT! We like to take a midday break between the parks at our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel to relax and unwind. This way, we can get a nap or some pool time in before we visit the second theme park of our choice!
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Mary! Have an enchanting time.
Aena
