Carlos from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

    1) can i change which park i enter first the day of or am i stuck with the decision when i buy the tickets online? 2) I'm staying at the Grand California Hotel - which park does the hotel have direct access to - Cali Adventure or Disney land?

    Hello there, Carlos!

I’m glad you’re planning a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The hotel’s California Craftsman-inspired architecture and décor are a breathtaking sight to behold! Your pixie-dusted adventure is just around the corner, so I hope you’re getting excited about all the magic that awaits you at the Disneyland Resort.

With valid admission tickets and theme park reservations, your family can enter and exit Disney California Adventure Park using the private entrance located right inside the hotel! This direct access is so convenient when you’re spending all day exploring the park. My family loves being only steps away from our room when we need a mid-afternoon break or just want to grab a jacket for the evening.

Yes, if you have Park Hopper tickets, you do have the option of modifying your theme park reservations as long as the theme park you’d like to visit first has availability. Feel free to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if there are currently reservations for the date you plan to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, but keep in mind that availability can and does fluctuate. You can change your theme park reservations by logging into your account on disneyland.com or in the Disneyland mobile app and selecting “Ticket and Reservation Details.” Choose the “Make or Modify Park Reservations” link to switch to a different starting park. After entering that first park, you’ll be able to visit the other park starting at 11:00 a.m. that day and go between the two parks until their scheduled closure time.

I hope this answers your question, Carlos. Have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Please visit us here at planDisney again as you continue preparing for your vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
