Can i leave and come back in the same day to rest or eat?

Hey-Howdy-Hey, Lesley! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Your visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth" is nearly here and the excitement must be building, Lesley! I can say from experience that there is no tiredness quite like "Disneyland tired" and I am happy to report that, yes, you can leave the theme park and come back later in the day.

Even if it's not for rest, I sometimes leave Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park and come back later just to check out other parts of the Disneyland Resort. At the Disneyland Hotel, I love popping by Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar or the Palm Breeze Bar for a drink. And at the newly-rethemed Pixar Place Hotel, I suggest a bite to eat at the Great Maple Modern American Eatery. Be sure to try the Fried Chicken & Doughnuts - it is unforgettable!

Lesley, please keep in mind that if you would like to visit both parks in one day, you'll need a Park Hopper ticket. Park hopping currently begins at 11:00 AM, so you would start at the theme park you made the reservation for before "hopping over" to the second theme park. You can go between them throughout the day!

I hope this information helps, Lesley. Please feel free to ask me any other questions that you have!

    See ya real soon!
