how can i change the name of the ticket or delete it?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Michelle. We're so glad you stopped by to share this question with us. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort and I'm delighted to help.

It sounds like someone else might be attending the parks other than the person whose name is listed on the ticket. If this is the case and the ticket is wholly unused, there's no problem. Names on tickets are mostly to help with organization in the Disneyland app. It's not necessary to change the name on the ticket as a Cast Member will take a picture of the person using the ticket which will serve as the ticket holder's identification throughout the use of the ticket. If you'd really like to update the name on the ticket or have it removed from your MyDisney account, I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member for assistance at the phone line for Tickets.

If you are planning to visit soon, Pixar Fest is in full swing at the resort and there is so much to enjoy during this celebration of friendship and beyond. The festivities run through August 4th and I've been enjoying trying as many Pixar-themed foods as I can.

Michelle, I hope the information I've shared has been helpful and gives you the next step for getting your tickets sorted. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might have. Here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
