Hello Shasta!
Welcome to planDisney! I know many Guests are excited to return to the
Disneyland Resort and hold times can be lengthy. After a long year of sacrifices, we all need a little magic in our lives!
Shasta, I have good news for you. You shouldn’t need to call to reassign this ticket. As long as a ticket is new and wholly unused, you can transfer it to another person. You can do it online by
signing into your Disneyland account! Visit the “Ticket and Reservation Details” tab on the Disneyland website, or the
Disneyland Mobile App. You should be given an option to reassign any unused tickets in your account to any of your Family & Friends. Make sure the new family member you want to reassign the ticket to is linked to you. If the original ticket is not in your Disneyland Account, but in someone else’s, then that person will need to link with the second family member and make the reassignment.
If you are continuing to have difficulty, you should be able to do it in person at a ticket window outside the theme parks. Lines may be long, so I would leave yourself additional time to take care of this at the start of your day. As it looks like you will be visiting the first week in June, keep in mind, as you mentioned in your question, that all Guests must be California residents through June 14, 2021. Out-of-state Guests may begin visiting the theme parks beginning June 15, 2021.
I hope this helps, Shasta, and that you can get the ticket reassigned quickly and easily online! Have a truly magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!
