Hey howdy hey, Simon! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question. My daughters and I were just talking about
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue last night ... wait, change that to laughing hysterically about it! I talked the family into going there a couple of years ago and am sorry to say we may never get my husband back there again. It was the highlight of our entire trip to everyone except my poor husband, who ended up being "that guy" that gets joked with the most during the show. Bless his heart, he even ended up in a pink tutu! We still have dreams (we got a dream!) of getting back there anyway because it seriously is one of the best Disney evenings we have ever had!
Simon, I did a good bit of research today and talked with two Disney Dining Cast Members who confirmed to me that there has been a change this year with using
Disney Dining Plan entitlements at this dining location. Yes, guests previously could use two Table-Service meal entitlements for Category 1 seating at the 8:30 p.m. show. However, Category 1 seating at all shows is now excluded from Disney Dining Plan usage. While Category 1 is full of spots very close to the stage, I think there really is not a bad seat in the house! When we were last there, I paid attention to where Category 2 began and it was only two tables over from ours in the middle. I have friends that always book Category 2 to be more budget friendly and they say that have always had a great view of the stage from the balcony and the floor.
Simon, I hope you have a rip-roaring great time at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue with your family! Stop by again if you have any other questions for us!
