Hi, James! I have used Garden Grocer numerous times over the years and have always appreciated their wonderful customer service. This past November, I decided to give Instacart a try and found it to be another great option to use during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. During this past visit, we stayed at Disney's Beach Club Resort and I remember reading about the change to Garden Grocer's delivery times. While Garden Grocer offers a designated delivery time, Instacart offers customers the ability to choose a preferred delivery window throughout the day and into the evening.
From what I understand about both services and based on my experiences with them, you do not have to be present at the resort for most deliveries.
Bell Services can accept delivery and store the items until your arrival. They do have a refrigerated area to store perishables. You will just need to note this preferred delivery method in the designated notation area within your order. Once you arrive at the resort, just give Bell Services a call from your resort room's phone and they will bring up your items as soon as possible.
James, I do want to recommend to you that you have your phone available in the few hours before your planned delivery time with Instacart. If the shopper has any issues purchasing any of the items you have requested, you will receive a text and/or email. If you are available, then the shopper can chat with you about any substitutions you would like to make. Both Garden Grocer and Instacart may change their shopping and delivery information at any time, so be sure to check with them about any specific questions you may have about their services.
I hope this information helps you with your pixie-dusted plans! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
