Oh boy, Robert! It sure is swell that you stopped by planDisney with your question! Mickey and I are excited that you'll be traveling to the Happiest Place on Earth very soon.
In today's day and age, plans change all the time. The good news is that modifying your Theme Park Reservation date is quite simple; however, there are a couple of things to consider. If you have a one-day ticket, your new date must be in the
same (or lower) tier. Otherwise, you will need to contact
Disneyland Ticket Services to determine if you can upgrade to a higher-tier ticket (if you have a multi-day ticket, you will not need to worry about the ticket tiers). Secondly, before changing your reservation, take a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if your desired park is available on the day you wish to visit.
Once those things are complete, log into your Disneyland account, click "Ticket and Reservation Details," and select "Cancel Reservation." When you receive your confirmation of cancellation, you'll be able to book another theme park reservation for your new date by visiting the
Theme Park Reservation webpage. Then, check your email inbox for the confirmation of your new reservation.
Robert, one of the best things about visiting in the summer is the longer park hours!
Disneyland Park closes at midnight most days in summer.
Disney California Adventure Park closes at 9 or 10 PM (Check the
hours online or in the
Disneyland Mobile App before you visit). If there's anything else we can help you with, remember the planDisney team is all ears!
