    can i change a the design of my magic band if i already chose one for my reservation?

    Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney! 

    I bet you are getting excited about your upcoming trip in January! You will be at Walt Disney World during Marathon Weekend, which is exciting! Whether you are running the event, attending as a spectator, or even visiting the parks during the event, you will be a part of something special.

    I conducted a bit of research on your question and found out that if you have ordered your MagicBand ahead of time on the Walt Disney World website, as part of the discounted rate for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests, then you will not be able to change the design. Once ordered, MagicBands cannot be canceled, changed, or replaced. 

    If you prefer a different design for your MagicBand, you can purchase a new one on shopDisney, in the Walt Disney World theme parks, resorts, or Disney Springs. You can reuse your MagicBands for multiple trips, so it's not a bad idea to have multiple MagicBands. This will allow you to have a backup in case one gets lost.
