Boo to you, Crystal!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for floating over with a
spook-tacular
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds as though you're currently on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth and have plans to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in just a short couple of days. I hope your festive fall holiday is off to a
terrifyingly tremendous start! Now, let's chat about modifications to special event admission.
At the time of writing,
Madame Leota's crystal ball is still hazy regarding how the predicted severe weather will impact operations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has sold out for all remaining 2024 dates, so under normal circumstances, Guests will not be permitted to change their ticket dates. However, if your event date is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like severe weather, you may be offered the opportunity to experience the event on another date or shift your admission to another ticketed
special event. If you're currently on-site, you could stop by any theme park ticket window or Guest Relations location to chat with a Cast Member about your options.
Crystal, I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Weather Updates & Information page on the Walt Disney World Resort website for the most up-to-date information about operational changes or closures. You can also find storm-specific details on a banner located at the top of the Walt Disney World Resort website. Additionally, the
My Disney Experience mobile app should feature notifications and guidance for Guests currently on-site. If theme parks are closed and/or special events are canceled for weather-related causes, you may be able to apply the value you paid toward future visits. In this case, I encourage you to speak with a friendly Cast Member to discuss how these changes would apply to you.
I hope you've found these suggestions helpful, Crystal, and I wish you a safe and comfortable rest of your
ghostly getaway. If you have any additional questions, you're always welcome to revisit us right here at
planDisney. We're
dying to have you back...
Warm wishes,
Lauren
